FAQ
Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each program is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!
+Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
Mad Science instructors tend to be college students pursing an education or science degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.
+What is the child to instructor ratio?
There will be no more than 25 children in each camp. Each camp will have at least two Counselors. Camps that have more than 25 children register are split into multiple groups and additional Mad Science Camp Counselors are on site in the appropriate ratios.
+What is your refund policy?
Camp registrations are fully refundable minus a $50 administration fee if requested eight or more weeks before the first day of the camp your child is registered for. After that, camp registrations are refunded at 50% until three weeks prior to the first day of your child’s camp. Refunds will not be issued within 21 days of the start of camp.
+What are the hours of Mad Science Summer Camp?
Regular camp hours are from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Extended Care: Before Care 8:00am - 9:00am & After Care 4:00pm - 5:00pm (costs extra) *Forest Heights = Before Care 8:30am - 9:00am & After Care 4:00pm - 4:30pm (costs extra)
